Squeeze bottles are specified by three things: the volume, the resin, and the dispensing cap. Get the cap wrong and the product either floods out or will not come out at all. Here is how the three decisions fit together for condiments, sauces and other viscous products.

Cap options and what they dispense
- Flip-top caps — one-hand operation; the usual choice for ketchup and sauces
- Disc-top caps — controlled flow; good for dressings, syrups and thinner sauces
- Sports caps — high flow; for drinks rather than thick product
- Inverted caps — let the bottle stand upside down so thick product sits at the nozzle and dispenses straight away
Why HDPE is the standard resin for squeeze bottles
HDPE is used for the great majority of squeeze bottles because it flexes and recovers without cracking or leaving a permanent crease. It also has good chemical resistance, keeps moisture out, and is economical at volume. We mould food-grade HDPE that complies with FDA food-contact requirements, free of BPA. Microwave-safe and dishwasher-safe options are available depending on the grade.

Typical applications
Ketchup, mustard, BBQ sauce, ハニー, シロップ, salad dressing, mayonnaise and squeeze cheese. The same bottle format also works for cosmetic gels, hair colour and industrial liquids, where controlled dispensing matters more than appearance.
